Year 6. Unit 3 Past Continuous.

Durant aquest tema 3 estam aprenent el "Past Continuous". Per això i per gaudir més de la gramàtica vàrem jugar al Murder Mistery, una versió simplificada del Cluedo. Aquest joc consisteix en endevinar els següents misteris: 

Who was dead?

What was he or she doing?

Where?

El vocabulary del que disposàvem: 

- Noms dels personatges: Hoo Zhang, Billy Hopper...

- Actions: take a nap, stroking the dog, reading a book, have a shower, eating lunch, making tea, smoking a pipe, talk on the phone, play cards and get dressed. 

- Places: garden, living room, dining room, bathroom, library, kitchen, study, bedroom, ballroom, hall. 

D'aquesta manera els alumnes, en grups de 4, anàven fent frases com aquestes: 

- Lynn Dyer was stroking the dog in the bathroom.

- Hoo Zhang was taking a nap in the garden.

- Waler Holden was reading a book in the kitchen, etc.

Today, in 6 year B, we've been practising this song with the Old Mcdonald tune.

Rose, our English Assistant, taught us the Present Continuous song and we have changed it to learn the past. 

To make the past continuous, 

to be plus ING
